A “MARCH for independence” will take place in Bangor tomorrow (September 23).
Organised by AUOB Cymru and YesCymru, this will start and finish at Glanrafon Car Park, with marchers encouraged to meet between 11am and 12pm before setting off at 1pm.
The march will travel down Bangor High Street, turning onto Glynne Road before proceeding down Deiniol Road back towards Glanrafon Car Park.
Following the march, there will be a rally at Glanrafon Car Park starting from about 2pm, with a large stage and screen, speakers and music.

Next to Glanrafon Car Park, The Old Bowling Green will host an "Indy Market" from 10am to 4pm, where organisations will promote their causes.
Artisans and producers from the area will also be showing their offerings there, creating a space for communal engagement and support.
As the day turns to evening, the celebration continues with an “Independence Gig” at Theatr Bryn Terfel, Pontio, promising an evening of entertainment that resonates with the day's themes.
There will also be a number of “fringe events”, including:
- “Folk-Music for Indy Afternoon”: Folk music at Tafarn y Glôb in Upper Bangor from 3-5pm.
