A PUB in Bangor which plans to re-open with a new fish and chip shop at its premises has selected its new name.
The Tap and Spile, on Garth Road, closed on Sunday (August 27) ahead of its “makeover”, and invited its customers to comment on its Facebook page suggestions for its new name.
It will now be known as “Tafarn Y Garth”, with the person responsible for the winning entry to claim a free portion of fish and chips every week for a year.
