A MAN has been arrested following a proactive stop by officers in the Holyhead area shortly before 1am this morning (September 4).

Officers stopped a vehicle in the area which subsequently resulted in a man being arrested on suspicion of numerous driving offences, including:

  • Driving under the influence of drugs.
  • Driving without a licence or insurance.
  • Being in possession of class A drugs.

North Wales Police added: “If you suspect drug-driving in your area, contact police via our website, by calling 101, or anonymously via CrimeStoppers.”
