AN ERYRI walker was transferred to hospital by air ambulance after sustaining a “serious” leg injury on Wednesday (August 30).
Aberglaslyn Mountain Rescue Team was called to the incident, treating the casualty to stabilise the injury before they were later airlifted.
A helicopter also transferred the crew members who attended off Eryri.

Aberglaslyn Mountain Rescue Team said: "In the middle of yesterday afternoon a call was received about a walker with an injury to their leg, with concern about how much the injury was bleeding.
“With the early information suggesting a serious injury, eight members were sent to the area and the assistance of the coastguard helicopter was called by Aberglaslyn co-ordination team.
"An ambulance was also called to the incident.
“With a small hasty team of Aberglaslyn members already on the mountain and the ambulance crew having managed to reach the casualty, the coastguard helicopter soon arrived.
"After treatment to stabilize the injury, the patient and the ambulance crew were transferred off the mountain in the helicopter.
“Aberglaslyn members managed to find a suitable spot for the helicopter to land in the valley, before transporting the casualty and crew back to the ambulance vehicle for further assessment.
“The casualty was taken to hospital for treatment."
