A COUPLE walking on a path got into difficulty when one of them slipped and injured their ankle.
The pair were walking through the woods above Llyn Crafnant; Llyn Crafnant is in Gwydir Forest Park
A passer-by stopped to help and gave a grid reference for the injured party. A second call was then received from staff at the lakeside cafe; the walker's partner made her way over to the cafe to get signal.
Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Organisation posted on Facebook: "The incident happened August 13.

"Local team members deployed directly to the casualty and gave initial first aid. The casualty was then packaged for a short stretcher wheel to the team vehicles on the forest track.
"They were driven to their own vehicle and advised to self-present at hospital."
