A PADDLEBOARDING dinosaur was spotted at Bala Lake on Sunday afternoon (August 20).
Despite suggestions that it may have been “Teggie”, the fabled monster living in the lake, it was, in fact, confirmed to be a friendly camper.

Liz Evans, of Gwersyllfa Pant yr Onnen Lakeside Campsite (Bala Camping), said: “I’ve been reading the comments on Facebook that (it’s) Teggie the monster who lives in the lake!
“The dinosaur paddleboarding on the lake was spotted by one our regular campers on Sunday afternoon.
“The dinosaur/camper is currently staying with us.”
Pant yr Onnen is a lakeside campsite on the southern shores of Bala Lake, with more than half a mile of the lake’s shore for campers to launch their boats, paddleboards and kayaks.
A family-run campsite, it also featured on an episode of the Channel 5 programme “Motorhoming with Merton and Webster”.
