THE body of a man who was reported to have been swept into the sea on Anglesey last weekend has been found on a beach.
Gareth Bowen, 46, from the Broughton area, was reported to have entered the water from rocks in Trearddur Bay on July 29, shortly after 7pm.
On Wednesday (August 2), his body was found on a beach in Rhoscolyn.

North Wales Police said: "We can confirm the body of a man found on a beach in Rhoscolyn on Wednesday, August 2, has been identified as Gareth Bowen.
"We continue to work closely with the coroner, and his family have been informed."
Detective Chief Inspector Andrew Gibson said: "Our thoughts remain with the man’s family at this incredibly difficult time."
Multi-agency searches took place last weekend in the search for Mr Bowen.
Earlier this week, his family expressed their thanks to the agencies involved in the searches.
Mr Bowen's mother, Lorraine, said: “Our family are extremely grateful for the searches and effort undertaken by all of the agencies involved in the searches to find Gareth since Saturday evening.”
