“The company is going through a period of transition as we no longer receive EU support. I look forward to working with the staff to ensure we can secure funding to continue the good work.”
Dafydd Gruffydd, managing director of Menter Môn, welcomed the appointment.
He said: “Rebecca has always taken an interest in the work of Menter Môn, and her background in the circular economy is very relevant to many of our projects.
“I am especially glad that we have appointed our first female chair.”

He added: “Dr Wyn Morgan gave his all as the chair of Menter Môn, and his support for me personally when I came into the role was invaluable.
“I’m pleased that he will continue on the board beyond his term as the chair.”
The company has also appointed Helen Williams as vice chair.
Helen is familiar with Menter Môn, having worked with and led the Menter Iaith team for 15 years before taking a senior position with the Mudiad Meithrin.
