EMERGENCY repairs on the A55 on Anglesey are due to continue for longer than expected this week.
Outer lanes were closed in both directions yesterday morning (July 17) between junction 5 (Rhosneigr) and junction 6 (Llangefni).
But according to Traffic Wales, “unforeseen circumstances” have meant that the repairs are now not set to finish until tomorrow (July 19).

Traffic Wales added yesterday afternoon: “We apologise for the inconvenience. Thank you for your co-operation.”
The Britannia Bridge on Anglesey will also be closed tonight while “essential maintenance works” take place.
It was also shut last night for the same reason.
Lanes will be closed in both directions between 8pm and 6am, with Traffic Wales adding that the closures will take place “under traffic management and convoy”.
