BANGOR nightclub Cube will close later this month, but has warned partygoers that “something special is on its way”.
Cube is a popular destination for people in Anglesey and north Gwynedd, and is known for its ‘Skint Summer Sessions’ nights and ‘It’s a Vibe’ Saturday nights.
In a post on social media, the club said: ““On Saturday, 22 July, it’ll be time to say goodbye to Cube Nightclub.
“We’ve had six years of amazing nights filled with live performances and guest appearances with all of our amazing customers bringing the best atmosphere to our dance floors.

“Save the date, buy the ticket and join us one last time to bid farewell to Cube.
“Botanic will continue to stay open through the summer on Fridays and Saturdays.
“Stay tuned though…something special is on its way.”
The club is situated on Dean Street, at the site originally home to the 1850s-built Tabernacle Chapel.
The chapel closed in 1911, and reopened in 1912 as the New County Theatre, which shut in 1971.
After a short time as a bingo club, the site reopened as the Octagon Night Club in 1985, before Cube eventually took over the site.
