LLANGEFNI'S newly elected town mayor is Cllr Margaret Ann Thomas, while her deputy is to be Cllr Terry Jones.
The councillors were elected to their new roles for the forthcoming civic year at the Llangefni Town Council annual general meeting on Monday, May 15.
Both have been members of the town council for many years and will continue with their commitment to the community and the town of Llangefni.

Cllr Thomas has been a town councillor for more than 20 years and has previously served as the Llangefni town mayor.
She has promoted activities and decisions affecting the town during her many years as a town councillor.
Cllr Jones is also an active member of the town council, who takes a keen interest in the community.
The outgoing mayor, Cllr Non W Parry, thanked members of the town council and staff for all their support during her year in office.”
