In addition to the custodial sentence, Williams was made the subject of a 10-year sexual harm prevention order and a 10-year restraining order.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Victoria Tower, said: “Williams clearly has a concerning sexual interest in young children and no level of sentence can begin to reflect the devastation he has caused from his actions.
“I commend the courage shown by everybody involved in this investigation who spoke out against him and helped to ensure that he was put behind bars.
“We take all offences of this nature very seriously and will continue to protect the children in our community from such offenders by ensuring that those seeking to harm children are identified and jailed for their crimes.”
