AN ANGLESEY bakery has redecorated its shop ahead of the King’s coronation on Saturday.
Staff at the Central Bakery in Beaumaris have got into the ‘coronation spirit’ by redecorating the shop floor and exterior with Union Jacks, pictures of the soon-to-be-crowned King Charles III, balloons and bunting.
The shop was decorated by staff, with one in particular ‘loving this kind of thing’, and is part of a shop window competition in the area.

A Central Bakery spokesperson said: “The shop was decorated by great shop staff and one in particular is extremely creative and loves this kind of thing.
“It took just an afternoon to decorate and the staff thoroughly enjoyed themselves getting in the coronation spirit.
“We as the owners love it and are very lucky to have such great staff who like to participate in the fun.
“We have a local shop window competition so fingers crossed we might be lucky to raise the trophy.
“We feel it’s very important to celebrate this event as they don’t happen often, it’s what makes history and everyone should celebrate in their own way.”
