SOME have estimated that 50,000 came along to Gŵyl Fwyd Caernarfon last year, and many are eagerly looking forward to what the festival has to offer on May 13 this year.
But as the date approaches, the organisers are making a last-minute plea for people to volunteer two hours of their time on the day of the festival.
The festival has been held every (non-COVID-19) year since 2016, and is organized entirely by people from the area who give their own time.

A spokesperson on behalf of the festival said: “We don't ask too much of our volunteers. Their main duty would be to distribute programs and collect contributions.
“Local people will know that the festival is organized by volunteers, and the work is year-round. Simply put, the festival would not be possible without volunteers.
“We encourage local residents who are interested in volunteering to complete this form: docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdslkiGkAsWpL3VJVbkyQcVQnts7A4bz6e4Zdp6RHeZR36n1w/viewform.
“We are incredibly excited to welcome you all to our wonderful town on May 13.”
