David Redfern
Redfern, 46, of Marine Parade, Barmouth, jailed after he was found guilty of murdering 71-year-old Margaret Barnes.
Mrs Barnes mistook Redfern’s home for a B&B she was staying in, and after discovering her in her bed, Redfern attacked her, inflicting a single kick/stamp which caused her fatal injuries.

Joshua Brizell
Brizell, a former Prestatyn Town and Colwyn Bay FC footballer, was jailed for his part in a County Lines drugs operation in Wrexham.
He was arrested after he used his Network Rail van and Hi-Viz jacket as a cover to courier drugs across five trips from Liverpool to Wrexham from October to November 2021.

Evan Williams
Williams, 31, from Bangor, was jailed for two offences of criminal damage.
He was sentenced at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on March 14.

These two men were jailed following a “frenzied assault” in Bangor which caused their victim to require surgery and lose a tooth.
A third man was also detained.

Andrew Hughes
Hughes, of Maes-y-Dre, Gronant, ploughed into an oncoming car containing husband and wife off-duty police officers while drink-driving.
This was in Denbigh on May 24, 2022.

Kenny Jones
Jones, 38, of Llwyn Onn, Amlwch, left a woman with her “confidence shattered” after sexually assaulting her.
His victim, 18 at the time of the offence, which took place in November 2020, had her arms squeezed and bruised by Jones.

Dean and Helen Evans
Dean Evans, 54, and Helen Evans, 42, both of Queens Park Close, Holyhead, were sentenced to prison for their involvement in a County Lines drugs operation.
A couple of other defendants from Holyhead; Mandy Madine, 43, of Holborn Close; and Bethan Farr, 49, of Peibio Close; received suspended sentences.

Elidon Hodaj and Landi Ruci
Both of these men were jailed following the discovery of a £1million cannabis factory on Bangor’s High Street.
They will both be deported following their sentences.

Davies, 36, of Henllan Street, Denbigh, assaulted an elderly man after he refused to give her money for alcohol.
The defendant was said to be drinking alcohol from a bottle and had asked the complainant for money to buy more.

Adam Smith
Smith, 31, of NFA in Rhyl, was jailed for assault, leaving a prison officer with a 'dislocated elbow' at HMP Berwyn.
The incident in question took place on November 7, 2021, when Smith was an inmate at the Wrexham prison, serving an eight-year extended sentence for wounding.

Matthew Selby
Selby, previously jailed for five years for killing his 15-year-old sister, was given a life sentence at the Court of Appeal.
The 20-year-old choked his sister Amanda to death after an argument in a caravan at the Ty Mawr Holiday Park in Towyn in July 2021.

Gavin Quarless
Quarless, 41, of Anglesey, was jailed after using a cheque worth £8,300 addressed to an elderly, vulnerable woman from Gwynedd he had never met.
The woman who the cheque was addressed to, Lucille Hughes, was director of social services in Gwynedd for many years, and died in February 2021.

O’Neill, 37, of Llandudno, was jailed after breaching his restraining order on the day he had been released from prison following a previous committal of the same offence.
As soon as he was released, he was said to have breached a restraining order imposed on him.

Stephanie Jones
Jones, 30, of Tai Newyddion, Nebo, Caernarfon, was jailed after making illegal gains of £3,570 from the bereavement charity, “2Wish”, which employed her.
Between August 2020 and January 2021, Jones was said to have submitted 19 false invoices for counselling sessions which had never taken place.

Christopher Bambrough
Bambrough, 31, of East Parade, Rhyl, was jailed for burgling the home of a woman and her two young children, in which he destroyed the ashes of the mother's late son.
He had previously been sectioned and diagnosed with schizophrenia and personality disorder.

Gary Johnson
Johnson, 53, of Tegfan, Abergele, was sentenced to prison after making more than 800 indecent photographs of children.
He was also handed an indefinite restraining order and a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO), while he was made subject to sex offenders register notification requirements indefinitely.

Challinor, 53, of no fixed abode, stalked and made repeated allegations about a Cheshire Police officer.
He committed the offences in Deganwy between September 2020 and November 2022.

Robinson, 69, of Foryd Road, Kinmel Bay, was jailed after pursuing and threatening a motorcyclist, before crashing his car into another resident’s garden fence.
He will serve a driving ban of three years and four months.
