RESCUERS were called out after a girl took ill on a mountain during a Duke of Edinburgh expedition.
The girl had fallen ill on the Western Slopes of Y Diffwys.
South Snowdonia Search and Rescue Team posted on Facebook on Monday, March 27: "The team doctor had a lift up from a local farmer, Arfon Owen, up to the casualty. Luckily Rescue 187 was available to land nearby and take the casualty to Bronglais Hospital.

"The team wishes to thank Mr Owen for his assistance, and note the excellent leadership of the teachers who were with the group."
