AN ANGLESEY jewellery shop is celebrating after winning another national business award in Cardiff.
“Jaspersparkle”, known primarily for making rings out of silver spoons, won the best jeweller prize at the Best of Welsh Business Awards 2023, which was held at the Mercure Hotel in the Welsh capital on March 12.
It follows their success at the same awards last year, when they were crowned best arts and creative business.
Anne Arkle has run Jaspersparkle since it launched at the Anglesey Show in 2011, along with her husband, Ray Blakemore.
She said: “This means so much to us, as an Anglesey business now trading in our 12th year, and voted by our wonderful, supportive customers.
“Unfortunately we were unable to attend this year's awards in person, but we were screeching from Anglesey watching the "live" Facebook feed!”
Last year, Anne’s also spent the entre month of March pledging £5 from each of their sales to the British Red Cross’ Disasters Emergency Committee Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal, with £650 raised in total.
