A MAJORITY of residents in Gwynedd awoke to a winter wonderland this morning (March 9). 

A blanket of snow is covering areas across the county. 

A number of schools have revealed they are having to shut due to the weather. 

Here is the list of school closures from Cyngor Gwynedd Council.

Isle of Anglesey County Council have not yet published any closures (8.24am).
