A NUMBER of schools across Gwynedd are closed today (March 2) while strike action takes place.
Members of the National Education Union (NEU) are also due to strike on March 15 and 16.
It follows the NEU strikes which took place on February 1.

Strike action was also planned for February 14, but was postponed due to progress in talks between the unions and Welsh Government at the time.
Gwynedd Council has been informed that the following schools are closed today:
Primary schools
Ysgol Borthygest, Porthmadog (fully closed)
Ysgol Tanygrisiau, Blaenau Ffestiniog (fully closed)
Secondary schools
Ysgol Glan Y Môr, Pwllheli (partially closed, open to Staff and Years 10 and 11 only)
Ysgol Uwchradd Tywyn, Tywyn (partially closed, open to Staff and Year 11 only)
