A DEAD sheep has been found discarded on a farm in Anglesey, as police launch an appeal for more information to trace its owner.
A Jacob breed ram was found in a stream yesterday (February 14) by a road between Gwalchmai and Bodorgan.
The sheep's ears had been cut to remove its tags.

PCSO Rhys Evans said: “When an animal decomposes, the process can produce toxins, bacteria, and other harmful compounds that can contaminate a water supply if its carcass is discarded in water.
“All fallen livestock must be disposed of safely and legally and collected and identified as soon as is reasonably practical.
“Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Rural Crime Team on 101, or via the website, using reference number A022863.”
