The Council had hoped to reopen by the end of January, but saw delays to securing supplies ahead of the project.
Minor works were done on the bridge yesterday, and will see the road closed for short spells today (Wednesday, 8 February).
A Gwynedd Council spokesperson said: "The Pont yr Aber swing bridge, Caernarfon is now open. Thank you for your patience."
