A MAN from Holyhead was fined after admitting to being the owner of a dog who injured someone while not under control.
Rikki Easter, 31, of Newry Street, was accused of owning a small terrier which injured Lea Richards in Newry Park on May 28, 2022.
He pleaded guilty at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on January 27.
The dog was ordered to be fitted with a muzzle to prevent it from biting anyone, and must be held on a lead only by people aged 16 or older.
Easter is to pay £100 in compensation, a £300 fine, £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service, and a £34 surcharge.
This totalled £519, to be paid in monthly, £50 instalments from February 24.
