A FLEET of new Arriva Wales single-deckers has been launched in Bangor following a £2.2m investment.
The new fleet consists of 12 single deck buses.
The buses, fitted with WI-FI and USB Ports, will run between Caernarfon, Bangor and Llandudno.
Drivers will also benefit from camera controlled mirrors.
The new fleet are low emission euro six vehicles making them an eco-friendlier form of transport.
Richard Hoare Commercial Director said “Arriva is committed to providing the best possible service for our customers, and we continue to invest in our fleet.
"The 12 new buses in Bangor are a great addition to our Welsh fleet, and this is a significant investment to a vital part of our network and underlines Arriva’s commitment to providing a high quality, fully accessible bus service to our customers”.
The vehicles were officially unveiled during a special launch event on Wednesday, February 1 at Arriva’s Bangor Depot.
They will go into service later this month.
