A MAN from Holyhead was fined after admitting to possessing a class A drug and to two driving offences.
Paul Williams, 38, of Cambria Street, was accused of the following on Newry Street, Holyhead on December 18, 2022:
- Possessing a quantity of amphetamine.
- Driving a Skoda Octavia vehicle without third party insurance, and without a licence.
He pleaded guilty to all of the above at Caernarfon Magistrates’ Court on January 17.
Williams received six penalty points on his driving record.
The court ordered him to pay fines totalling £280, a victim surcharge of £112, and costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85.
This amounted to a total of £477, to be paid in monthly instalments of £24 from February 14.
In addition, the amphetamine was ordered to be forfeited and destroyed.
