A MAN from Caernarfon was fined after he admitted to making off without paying his taxi fare.
Christopher McArevey, 46, of Hyfrydle, was accused of not paying his £15 fare while in Bangor on August 19, 2022.
He gave an indicated plea of guilty at Caernarfon Magistrates’ Court on January 12.
McArevey was ordered to pay a £40 fine, and compensation of £15.
This totalled £55, to be paid as a lump sum within 28 days.
An application was made for deductions from McArevey’s benefits.
