A MAN from Holyhead was handed a restraining order despite pleading not guilty to assaulting a woman.
Hicham Mihoub, 38, of William Street, was accused of assaulting Mary Spears by beating her in Holyhead on June 9, 2022.
He was found not guilty at Caernarfon Magistrates’ Court on January 6, having pleaded as such on November 10, 2022.
Despite this, Mihoub was ordered not to attend a specified Holyhead address, or contact or approach Spears, for two years.
This order was made on acquittal.
