A MAN from Gwynedd was jailed after he pleaded guilty to assaulting one police officer and resisting another.
Gareth Davies, 45, of Tai Richmond, Blaenau Ffestiniog, was accused of committing common assault against PC Pritchard by spitting on him and resisting PC Owen in the town on January 4.
He pleaded guilty to both offences at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on January 6.
Davies was jailed for 28 weeks.
The court heard how Davies committed the offences while under the influence of alcohol, and during the operational period of a suspended sentence issued to him previously.
He was described as having a “flagrant disregard for court orders”.
