A MAN has been jailed for 26 weeks for assaulting a security guard and a police officer at a pub in Caernarfon.
Paul Jones, 39, of Llanbeblig Road, Caernarfon, assaulted a security guard at the Castle Hotel/Y Castell on the evening of 1 May 2022.
He then assaulted a police officer on arrest.

Yesterday (January 5), he was convicted of S.47 assault, assault on an emergency worker and possession of cocaine for which he was sentenced to 26 weeks imprisonment.
Sergeant Kirsty Miller said: “We welcome the sentence imposed by the court.
"We hope this demonstrates that violence against those whose job it is to keep others safe will not be tolerated.”
