BANGOR University’s new festive film celebrates its unsung heroes and in the city, and sends the message that spreading festive joy is about coming together as a community.
This year’s short film sees the return of little Nancy and her family who appeared in last year’s production.
The opening scene observes the family at home writing letters to Santa.
They’re interrupted by a knock at the door, only to discover a mysterious box has been delivered to their doorstep.
Marvelling at what they find inside, they set about spreading festive joy around the city.

The three-minute film was shot across two evenings in November and was created with Wrexham production company Follow Films.
Alex Hardie, head of brand marketing, said: “It's impossible to celebrate all the achievements and contributions that people make to our city but we wanted to shine a spotlight on some of the unsung heroes of our community.
“Our simple goal is to make our community smile by reprising the roles of our local alumni family – the Metcalfes – who bring a new Bangor adventure to our screens for 2022.”
