A COUPLE of women from Holyhead were fined after being found guilty of travelling by train without a ticket.
Sheila Jones, 42, of Maes Hedd, and Nia Evans, 38, of Tan Yr Efail, were accused of travelling from Holyhead to Bangor on July 21 without a valid ticket.
A guilty verdict was reached at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court on November 29.
Both women were ordered to pay a fine of £220, compensation of £10, a victim surcharge of £88, and costs of £100.
This amounted to a total payment for each of them of £418, to be paid by December 27.
