A HOUSE was gutted during an early morning fire.
Firefighters from Pwlheli and Nefyn, two crews from Caernarfon and the Aerial Ladder Platform appliance from Bangor attended a house fire yesterday morning (November 14) at Bryn Coch, Trefor, Gwynedd.
A spokesperson from North Wales Fire and rescue said: "The call was received at 3.40am this morning. The fire caused 100 per cent fire damage to the property.
"The most probable cause is overheating of the tumble dryer.
"'Stop' received at 13.43 [when crews left the scene]."
People are being urged to follow lifesaving advice after about 1,000 electrical fires.
All three Fire and Rescue Services in Wales are urging households to remain vigilant and follow safety advice after a growing concern for electrical fire safety at home.
The call for action falls in line with Electrical Fire Safety Week (November 14 until 20 2022), a consumer awareness campaign run by Electrical Safety First in partnership with the Home Office.
Readers are also urged to follow 'White Goods safety advice. 'White goods' refer to the electrical appliances within the home. This could be a tumble dryer, washing machine, dishwasher or fridge/freezer.
