A CONVICTED sex offender was fined after failing to comply with the register’s notification requirements.
Tomos Evans, 22, of Bangor, was accused, without reasonable excuse, of failing to register a Santander bank account between October 15, 2021 and August 24, 2022.
He was found guilty at Caernarfon Magistrates’ Court on October 17.
Evans was fined £120, and ordered to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service, and a £32 victim surcharge.
This totalled £237, to be paid as a full lump sum within 28 days.
An application was made by the court for deductions from Evans’ benefits.
