AN AUTHOR from Wrexham has released his first novel at the age of 79, which is based in the Snowdonia region.
Since retiring from a long and chequered career, Keith Williams has switched his focus to writing, and has published several self-help books.
Now devoted to writing action fiction novels based in Wales, the 79-year-old took inspiration from his fondness of exploring the hills and mountains of Snowdonia.
His new novel Maroc follows an ex-SAS serviceman banished from his family home, who is left with near-total amnesia after a kidnapping goes awry.
He soon fights for his family’s survival against a ruthless enemy, with action split between Snowdonia, Manchester and Albania.
Author Keith Williams said: “Having spent quite some time in Eastern Europe and having knowledge of their military and intelligence operations/activities, a part of the book is based on my experience in that area.”
The book has a perfect rating of five on Amazon, after nine reviews.
