A RESIDENT of Anglesey has been banned from the roads and fined after pleading guilty to three driving offences.
Dolton Fountain, 27, of Bron Heulog, Tregele, was accused of the following while driving a Ford vehicle in Llanrhyddlad on June 3:
- Driving without a licence.
- Driving with 31 micrograms per litre of blood of Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC - the cannabinoid molecule in marijuana).
- Driving without third party insurance.
Fountain pleaded guilty to all of the above at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on October 5.
The court fined Fountain £300, and issued a 12-month driving ban.
Fountain will also pay costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85, and a £34 victim surcharge.
This totalled £419, which is to be paid as a full lump sum within 28 days.
An application was made for deductions from Fountain’s benefits.
