A CRASH which taken place on the A55 near the Britannia Bridge this morning (October 24) hospitalised one person.
This was on the road's eastbound carriageway.
Severe delays are expected in the area while emergency services deal witht he incident.
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called today (October 24) shortly after 8am to reports of a road traffic collision between a car and motorbike, on the A55 Britannia Bridge.
"We sent one emergency ambulance to the scene, where one person was taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd for further treatment.”
Shortly after 9am, North Wales Police said: "Due to a road traffic collision on the eastbound carriageway of the A55 near to the Britannia Bridge, traffic is extremely heavy in the area.
"Please expect delays and remain patient whilst emergency services deal with the incident."
