AN AREA on the outskirsts of Bangor has been closed off after a vehicle caught fire.
This was at Halfway Bridge, with oil having been deposited on the road.
The fire has now been extinguished, but people have been urged to avoid the area for the time being.

NWP Gwynedd North said: "Please note that the area known as Halfway Bridge on the outskirts of Bangor is closed due to oil being on the road following a vehicle fire.
"The fire has been extinguished and we await our colleagues from Highways to clear the road.
"Please avoid the area and thanks in advance for your patience."
A North Wales Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 9.27am to a vehicle fire on Halfway Bridge, Gwynedd.
"One crew in Bangor attended. The fire is thought to be deliberate."
