AN AUTHOR from Anglesey has had his latest book published, based on the meanings behind animal-based idioms, and with plenty of colourful drawings to illustrate them.

Steve Palin’s “A Box of Frogs” was released on September 8 by publishers Merlin Unwin Books.

Artist and writer Steve has combined another of his passions: his love of animals, birds and insects - to come up with a book in which he has drawn and explained his favourite wildlife idioms.

The book shows animal idioms illustrated by Steve himself, and then described on the following page so that you can guess what it is before turning to reveal the answer.
