A MAN from Gwynedd who blocked another person’s driveway and breached his restraining order is to pay more than £1,000.
Jeremy Davies, 58, of Llanystumdwy, was accused of the following:
- Resisting PC Woodall on November 21, 2021.
- Blocking John O’Donnell’s driveway with rocks, stones and other objects, and engaging in conversation with him (which he was prohibited from doing by a restraining order) on February 9.
- Visiting the home of, and making direct contact with, Diane O’Donnell, which he was prohibited from doing by a restraining order, on July 27.
- Causing £235.11 worth of criminal damage to Mr O’Donnell’s metal Heras fencing on September 23.
- Approaching both John and Diane O’Donnell, which he was prohibited from doing by a restraining order, on September 24.
- Assaulting Mr O’Donnell by beating him on September 24.
Davies was found guilty of all six offences.
At Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on October 3, he was ordered to pay £900 in fines, £250 in compensation, and £200 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
This amounted to a total of £1,350, to be paid in full by November 28.
Davies was handed a fresh restraining order, prohibiting him from contacting either John or Diane O’Donnell directly or indirectly, or from entering their home address, until October 2, 2028.
