A man from Prestatyn has been banned from the roads and fined after pleading guilty to committing two driving offences while in Anglesey.
Dale Boyd-Fernando, 30, of Parc Cemlyn, was accused of the following while driving a BMW vehicle on the A55 in Gaerwen on June 2:
- Driving without third party insurance.
- Driving with three micrograms per litre of blood of Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC – the cannabinoid molecule in marijuana).
He pleaded guilty to both offences at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on September 30.
Boyd-Fernando was disqualified from driving for 12 months, and fined £120.
The court also ordered him to pay costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85, making a total payment of £205.
