A WOMAN from Holyhead has been handed restraining orders from two people after pleading guilty to assault and criminal damage to property.
Karen Dewar, 56, of Stanley Crescent, was accused of the following in Holyhead on July 19:
- Assaulting Christa Jones by beating her.
- Destroying a porcelain watering can, solar lights and flower beds, worth a cumulative £150, belonging to Carl Jones.
Dewar pleaded guilty to both offences at Caernarfon Magistrates’ Court on September 12.
She was prohibited from contacting approaching either Christa or Carl Jones, directly or indirectly, or from going within 100 metres of a specified Holyhead address, until September 11, 2023.
The court also ordered her to pay £200 in compensation, £200 in fines, £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service, and a £34 victim surcharge.
This totalled £519, which Dewar is to pay in weekly instalments of £6 from October 10.
