A MAN from Caernarfon has been jailed after he was found guilty of two counts of assault of the same woman, and of Class A drug possession.
Kevin Evans, 30, of Cae Bold, was accused of the following:
- Possessing a quantity of cocaine in Caernarfon on March 26.
- Assaulting Rhiannon Roberts, causing her actual bodily harm, at The Albert Inn pub, Caernarfon on March 26.
- Assaulting Rhiannon Roberts by beating her in Caernarfon on August 22.
Evans was found guilty of all three offences.
At Caernarfon Magistrates’ Court on September 13, Evans was sentenced to 24 weeks’ imprisonment.
This was due to his “unprovoked attack of a serious nature” and his “serious assault on licensed premises”.
He was also handed a restraining order, prohibiting him from approaching or contacting Roberts directly or indirectly until September 12, 2024.
The court ordered that the cocaine be forfeited and destroyed.
