A MAN from Bangor has been banned from the roads and fined after pleading guilty to two counts of drug-driving in the city.
David Tomlinson, 40, of Glanrafon Hill, was accused of the following while driving a Ford vehicle on his road on April 16:
- Driving with more than 400 micrograms per litre of blood of Benzoylecgonine (BZE, a cocaine breakdown product).
- Driving with more than 65 micrograms per litre of blood of cocaine.
He pleaded guilty to both offences at Caernarfon Magistrates’ Court on September 5.
Tomlinson was disqualified from driving for 12 months.
He will pay a fine of £161, costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85, and a £34 victim surcharge.
This totalled £280, which he will pay in monthly, £50 instalments from September 4.
