THREE friends from Anglesey are set to undertake a 115-mile charity walk on behalf of the Alzheimer’s Society, with a personal reason the inspiration behind the fundraiser.
Kane Briggs, Katie Bracey and Mitch McGregor from Benllech will be walking from the Anglesey village to New Quay in Ceredigion to raise money for the charity.
Kane said: “My grandad is suffering from frontal lobe dementia.
“I took part in a head shave a few months ago and we raised a lot of money for Ukraine.
“It inspired me to do something for charity myself, so I took this challenge on and dragged my mate and step sister along with me!”
The walk will take place over five days in early October, and the group will be camping along the way.
So far, the group have raised £162 - to donate to their cause, visit their JustGiving page here.
