A MAN from Anglesey is to abstain from consuming alcohol after pleading guilty to assaulting a woman in Bangor.
Kenneth Piper, 40, of Dulas, was accused of assaulting Bethany Quinton by beating her on April 21.
He pleaded guilty at Caernarfon Magistrates’ Court on September 1.
Piper was ordered to avoid alcohol for 120 days, and to complete a maximum of 25 days’ rehabilitation activity.
He will pay £200 in compensation, and costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85, making a total payment of £285.
A second offence, of common assault against Quinton in Bangor on April 21, was withdrawn.
