A MAN from Prestatyn has been fined after he was found guilty of drug-driving while in Anglesey.
Stuart Pryde, 32, of Lon Cadfan, was accused of driving a Suzuki vehicle while in Penmon Car Park on April 15 with 3.9 micrograms per litre of blood of Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC - the cannabinoid molecule in marijuana).
He pleaded guilty at Caernarfon Magistrates’ Court on August 30.
Pryde was fined £80, and received 10 penalty points on his driving record.
The court also ordered him to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service, and a £34 victim surcharge.
This total of £199 is to be paid as a full lump sum within 28 days.
An application was also made for deductions from his benefits.
