A MAN who pleaded guilty to an assault in Gwynedd is to abstain from consuming alcohol and undertake unpaid work.
Connor Doherty, 23, of Chester Road, Wrexham, was accused of assaulting Benjamin Holland by beating him in Abersoch on April 10.
He pleaded guilty at Caernarfon Magistrates’ Court on August 4.

Doherty was ordered to avoid alcohol for 60 days.
He is also to complete 80 hours of unpaid work and a 35-day programme.
Doherty will also pay £150 in compensation, as well as a £95 victim surcharge and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
This made a total of £330, which Doherty will pay in monthly instalments of £125 from September 1.
