A polymer Scottish fifty pound note
POLICE are warning businesses of counterfeit notes being used in the region.
North Wales Police has said recently there have been several instances of fake Scottish £50 notes being presented at shops.
A spokesperson said: "Please be wary when dealing with such notes if you undertake any cash transactions.
"New Scottish notes like Bank of England notes are polymer although paper notes are still legal tender if genuine."
