A RESIDENT of Gwynedd has received a fine and points on their driving record after being found guilty of driving without due care and attention.
Elgan Owen, 34, of Parciau, Mynytho, was accused of such driving while driving a Honda vehicle on Lon Pin on November 15, 2021.
Owen was found guilty on August 3 at Caernarfon Magistrates’ Court, having pleaded not guilty on April 22.

The court handed Owen a £266 fine, and endorsed Owen’s driving record with five penalty points.
Owen is to pay a further £200 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service, making a total payment of £466.
Two further offences, of driving without a licence and third party insurance at the same location and on the same date, were dismissed after no evidence was offered by the prosecution.
