A MAN from Llandudno is to serve a prison sentence and pay a fine after he pleaded guilty to committing an assault in Anglesey.
Roland Doano, 43, of Caer Clyd, was accused of assaulting Connor Christie by beating him on Mona Street, Amlwch on April 26.
He changed his plea to guilty at Caernarfon Magistrates’ Court on August 10.

Mr Doano was sentenced to 10 weeks’ imprisonment.
He is also to pay £50 in compensation.
Mr Doano was also accused of assaulting Tracey Owen by beating her twice.
These incidents were said to be on Cae Clyd on June 24, and on Cybi Close, Holyhead on June 29.
Both of these offences, to which he pleaded not guilty, were dismissed after the prosecution offered no evidence.
