A POLICE dog assisted in the arrest of a man on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class B drug in Bangor yesterday (August 11).
North Wales Police (NWP) say a warrant was executed in the Maesgeirchen area of the city, while amphetamine was also seized by the force.
NWP Gwynedd North said yesterday: “Bangor Priority Crime Team officers, supported by colleagues from the Armed Alliance and Dog Section, as well as Neighbourhood Tasking Team, executed a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act, in the Maesgeirchen area of Bangor this morning.

“One person was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class B drug, and a quantity of amphetamine was seized.
